POTSDAM - - A drawing class for teens will be offered at the St. Lawrence County Arts Council, 41 Elm St., room 229, on Saturday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 3, 10, and 17.
The class is for ages 13-16 and will be led by St. Lawrence University graduate Claire Alai. She will help students improve their line work, form, and composition styles through practice in still life, portraits, and abstraction. She’ll focus on expanding students’ drawing skills and helping them explore different drawing styles as tools for self-expression.
The cost is $60 and students should bring a set of drawing pencils, an eraser, and an 18"x24" drawing pad.
