POTSDAM -- This week, Clarkson University hosted 15 of the best teachers from across New York State for a global climate change workshop.

The teachers, who were selected through a highly competitive application process, engaged in project-based activities related to the scientific data and observable changes that are occurring within our state, country and the world.

NASA resources, including satellite data and pictures and climate models, were integrated into the daily agenda.

The workshop was led by Professors Susan Powers and Suresh Dhaniyala in partnership with NYSERDA, and is funded through a grant from NASA.

Guest speakers included Clarkson Professor and advisor to the EPA Professor Phil Hopke and NYSERDA researcher Lesley Patrick.
