Traditional Arts in Upstate New York has announced that Teresa Stone has joined the organization as Membership Director. Stone is charged with managing and increasing TAUNY’s membership – both individual and business.
“TAUNY is such a vital North Country organization,” says Stone. “I am excited to join the TAUNY team and look forward to getting to know our current members and welcoming many new ones.”
Stone, who was raised on a small beef hobby farm outside of Richville, NY, lived and worked in Princeton, New Jersey, following graduation from college. In 2004 she returned to the North Country to live and raise her family. She worked in the communications office at St. Lawrence University and for the past several years has operated a home-based baking business and taught fitness classes. She lives in Potsdam with her husband Chris and their five children.
“We are delighted to welcome Teresa to the TAUNY staff,” says Executive Director Jill Breit. “She brings great energy and vision to our team. TAUNY’s work is possible because of ongoing annual support from our members. With Teresa’s help we will work to engage new members in helping us fulfill our mission.”
