MASSENA -- Village police have responded to two suspected fatal drug overdoses since October 19.
On Oct. 27, police responded to a death at 12 Grassmere Avenue around 2:06 a.m. They found Dodie Derochia, 37, dead of a suspected OD, according to Chief Adam Love. Dr. Samuel Livingstone performed an autopsy Thursday.
The official cause of death is pending toxicology, Love said.
On Oct. 19 at 11:11 a.m., police responded to the death of Rob Brody at 11 Poplar St.
His death is also suspected to be an overdose, with the official cause also pending toxicology.
Love said at this time, there are no suspects who police believe may have sold drugs to either of them prior to their deaths.
