POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Office of Human Resources has been honored with the New York State Comptroller's Payroll Achievement Award for 2012.
The Office of State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli presented the awards at a ceremony in Albany in December.
"I am thrilled and very proud of this achievement. This speaks volumes to the HR employees who get the right information by the due date to the payroll employees for the right processing on time," said Assistant Vice President for Human Resources Mary Dolan.
The awards are based on a composite score of transactions submitted to the state for on-time appointments, on-time separations and post-deadline submissions for payroll transactions. The outstanding performance award recognized SUNY Potsdam for having the best composite on-time performance for the 2011-12 fiscal year.
SUNY Potsdam was one of three State University of New York campuses to be recognized with the award, along with SUNYIT and SUNY Brockport.
