POTSDAM -- The SUNY Potsdam Women’s Softball Team held their third annual “Strike Out Cancer” game April 24, raising $695 for Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care.
Their donation will be used for services for breast cancer patients, including transportation assistance, educational materials, wigs and head scarves for those undergoing chemotherapy. In the past three years, the softball team has contributed more than $2,300 to the hospital.
