CANTON -- SUNY Potsdam Applied Theater students recently worked with Maplewood Campus residents on an intergenerational exercise called "Memory Theater."
Students had several conversations with the residents about their life experiences and turned them into plays.
“Everyone really got a lot out of the experience,” Maplewood activities leader Patience Boswell said. “It was a very interactive exercise and the residents really enjoyed their time with the students.”
Seated, from left, are Maplewood employee Brenda Jones and residents Richard Kennell, Phyllis Kennell, Stanley Kaine and Maria Goliber. Standing, from left, are students Courtney Butler, Molly McCuin and Alyssa Ashlaw.
