POTSDAM -- The SUNY Potsdam Campus Community Band is seeking adult musicians who play woodwinds, brass, percussion, guitar, bass or keyboard instruments. No audition is required, and any level of musical skill, talent or interest is always welcomed.
This band rehearses every Tuesday evening at The Crane School of Music when classes are in session, and explores various musical styles selected by its members.
This semester, the Campus Community Band will welcome composer Dr. David Heuser, associate dean of The Crane School of Music, as a special guest conductor for his piece, “Three Places in Texas Hill Country.”
Rehearsals for the Fall 2017 semester will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
For more information, please contact the director, Dr. Caron Collins, at collincl@potsdam.edu or visit the band’s website at http://campuscommunityband.weebly.com.
