CANTON -- SUNY Canton has reached an all-time enrollment record for the college's summer session term, which begins June 2.
"We have 1,808 students enrolled in our classes so far," said SUNY Canton Dean of Academic Support Services and Instructional Technologies Molly A. Mott. "This breaks our 2012 record of 1,796 students," an increase of 12 students.
More than 150 courses will be available throughout three sessions, which allow students the opportunity to either get ahead and graduate early, or stay on track and graduate on time. Courses will be held June 2 to July 27, June 2 to July 6 and July 7 to Aug. 10.
Many courses are accessible via computer.
Courses are offered in English, finance, history and business, and The Adirondack Experience, a one-week on-site course that allows students to learn digital photography techniques while paddling and hiking.
Summer session courses can also help satisfy degree requirements at other SUNY schools.
