This weekend in St. Lawrence County will be sunny and hot with temperatures up to about 85 today and around 90 Sunday, but cooler toward the mountains -- about five degrees cooler in Star Lake -- according to the National Weather Service forecast.
The good news is that the NWS believes it won’t be very humid.
A ridge of high pressure will remain in control of the weather Sunday and Sunday night, with fair and dry weather. Overnight lows tonight are expected to be near 60 degrees and Sunday night in the mid 60s.
Clouds will start to move in Sunday night as trough will move into the region during the day on Monday, with a chance of rain showers at 40 percent Monday, 30 percent Monday night, and 50 percent on Tuesday.
High temperatures on Monday will not be as warm as Sunday, due to increasing cloud cover, with highs on Monday in the low 80s, and in the mid 70s on Tuesday.

• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 90. South wind 5 to 9 mph.
• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind 6 to 9 mph.
• Monday: A 40 percent chance of showers after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. South wind 10 to 13 mph. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
• Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. Southwest wind 7 to 10 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
• Tuesday: A 50 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Southwest wind around 7 mph.
