Rain, snow and mixed precipitation will dominate the North Country weather picture Friday night and Saturday before the sun comes out again on Sunday, according to the latest weather forecast for the region.

High pressure that is sitting over the North Country this afternoon, providing mostly sunny skies, will be pushed out and clouds will build tonight and Friday, leading up to a 30 percent chance of rain tomorrow evening.

On Saturday, rain and snow and a mixture of the two are expected, diminishing Saturday night to provide a bit of a respite Sunday with partly sunny skies, before precipitation moves back in.

Overnight lows are expected to be in the 20s, and daytime highs in the 30s to near 40.
