High pressure will be building into the St. Lawrence Valley today and the sun will make an appearance as temperatures rise today well into the 40s.

That high pressure slides east of the North Country late tonight and Tuesday allowing for a very mild and breezy Tuesday before more showers and colder air move in Tuesday night, with a return to more seasonable temperatures mid to late week.

Lows tonight will be around the freezing mark and there is a slight chance of showers.

Tomorrow’s high could reach the mid 50s with an 80 percent chance of rain with gusty winds. The rain could continue tomorrow night and Wednesday.
