High pressure will provide dry weather today, then warm and summery conditions on Friday with partial to full sunshine, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

A cold front approaching from the north later Friday may spark a late day shower across the far north, NWS says. This front will sag into the area for the upcoming weekend with cooler temperatures and a more widespread threat of showers.

Highs today will be near 76 with sunny skies and calms winds of 5 to 9 miles per hour, the service says. An overnight low of 59 is expected.

Friday will continue with more summer-like conditions as a high of 80 is likely with winds of 13 to 17 mph, forecasters say. There is a 60 percent chance of showers Saturday morning with an overnight low of 63.
