Although St. Lawrence County is forecast to get a reprieve from subzero temperatures but more snow by the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday night is predicted to bring temperatures around -11 degrees in Canton, Potsdam, Ogdensburg and Massena. Gouverneur is expected to get to around -7 degrees.

Friday is forecast to bring sunny skies and temperatures around 12 degrees in Canton, Potsdam, Ogdensburg and Massena.

Meteorologists expected temperatures on Friday night will get to around 0 degrees in most areas, getting down to around -6 in the higher elevations.

Saturday should bring temperatures into the mid-20s with sunny skies, the NWS says, with thermometers getting back down to around 0 degrees at night.

Snow is forecast for Sunday. Most areas of the county are facing 50 percent odds with temperatures in the high-20s during the day and 60 to 70 percent odds with temperatures in the high-teens at night.
