OGDENSBURG -- Students and staff were sent home at 9 a.m. today at Ogdensburg Free Academy.
The closure impacts students in 7th through 12th grade, school officials said.
The leak was discovered at 7:45 a.m. and everyone was immediately evacuated from the building, officials said.
St. Lawrence Gas crews and local firefighters responded to the school and are working on fixing the issue now.
OFA officials said parents will be kept updated through parental alerts and the One-Call Now school notification system.
