FOWLER -- A large storage barn containing at least seven vehicles is a total loss following a fire shortly after midnight on Wednesday, according to St. Lawrence County fire investigators.

The cause is under investigation, according to fire personnel.

No injuries were reported.

"Due to quick actions, firefighters were able to save a second large structure and two nearby occupied mobile homes," fire investigators said in a news release.

Firefighters from Gouverneur, Edwards, Harrisville and Richville were dispatched at 12:07 a.m. to property at 1491 County Rte. 22 (Little York Road), which is owned by Harry and Sid Harmer.

Investigators said they aren't certain if they have insurance.
