Stockholm, Lawrence and Brasher residents with artistic talent can win $100 through the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce’s Winter Carnival button contest.

Using the theme “It’s a Jungle Out There” contestants are asked to submit hand drawn or painted work that can be shrunk to 2 and a half inches. The design must include the phases “It’s a jungle out there,” and “Tri-Town Winter Carnival 2012.”

Only four colors may be used. Entries must be received by the Chamber by Dec. 3. Contestants must include their name, address, phone number and a short statement about the design.

There is no age limit or limit on the number of entries per individual. We anxiously await your entries

The buttons are used as passes that allow the wearer to get into certain events during the carnival weekend. and they become collector items.
