GOUVERNEUR -- The state Department of Transportation will begin milling operations on State Route 58 Monday, May 20.
Work will begin near Riverview Park on state route 58 and end near the intersection of route 58 and Hailesboro Street.
Crews will also repair drainage and other highway structures.
The department expects to complete the work by the end of that week, prior to paving operations scheduled to begin June 10. Paving is also expected to take about a week.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Motorists should plan for travel delays.
