State road maintenance begins today along State Routes 3, 58 and 68 in St. Lawrence County.
• State Route 68 in the City of Ogdensburg: State Department of Transportation crews are expected to begin milling operations between the Adams Avenue intersection and Ogden Avenue intersection in preparation for paving, which is scheduled to begin about June 13. The paving project will begin at the west end of State Route 68 near United Helpers, out to the twin bridges downtown.
• State Route 3 in Star Lake and the Towns of Fine and Clifton: Crews will be milling State Route 3 in preparation for paving, which is scheduled to begin about June 10.
• State Route 58 in the Village of Gouverneur: Crews will be making preparations for paving, which are expected to begin about June 10.
For all projects, traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Motorists can expect minor delays.
DOT asks drivers to exercise caution in work zones and obey all traffic control devices.
