LOUISVILLE -- State police are attempting to recover items taken in a burglary in Louisville last fall for which a Chase Mills man has been jailed on $100,000 cash bail, and they are seeking help from the public to find them.
Steven P. Baildon Sr., 56, Chase Mills, has been charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Sometime between Nov. 29 and Dec. 4, 2011, Baildon burglarized a residence and barn on County Route 36 in the Town of Louisville, according to police, during which numerous household items, sporting goods, jewelry, NASCAR memorabilia, and a 400 Polaris ATV were stolen.
Anyone with information about these items is asked to contact State Police Investigator Darin Chartrand at 379-0012.
Baildon was arraigned in the Town of Massena court by Town Justice Gerald Sharlow and committed to Saint Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond pending future court action next week.
