NEWTON FALLS -- The six people charged in a prostitution ring Tuesday were using a Craigslist advertisement to solicit men for sex in exchange for money, drugs or cigarettes and then several men in the household would use intimidation to run the man off.

State Police said they received two separate complaints regarding prostitution and their investigation determined Craigslist was being unlawfully used for soliciting men for sex.

Alyssa Flores, 25, Kayla Iser-Smith, 26 of 744 County Route 60, would reportedly lure the men to their residence by using the Craigslist advertisement, which indicated they were looking to meet men. Once the advertisement was answered, Flores and Iser would work together, sending text messages and emails to the men of pornographic photos of themselves.

When the men were at the residence, sex would be exchanged for money, drugs, or cigarettes, police said. Flores would negotiate the exchange and accept the money and Iser would perform the sexual act.

Troopers said while Iser was performing the sexual act, Flores would have male members of the household enter the room where the sexual act was being performed and run the men off by means of intimidation.

State police said those charged include:
