State police from Gouverneur assist St. James Catholic Church with toy drive

GOUVERNEUR – Gouverneur-based state police assisted the St. James Catholic Church, 164 East Main St., Dec. 12 with their annual Christmas toy drive. Pictured from left: Tpr. Carina Shelmidine, Tpr. Members of the police donated gifts to assist the church in collecting for over 80 families in the Gouverneur area.

With a generous donation from Kinney Drugs in Gouverneur, the state police are able to help the church provide a better Christmas to those in need.
