State Senator Darrel Aubertine, running to keep his 48th District Senate seat, has received the support of the New York State Association of Police Benevolent Associations.
“The association decided unanimously to support Darrel in his bid for re-election.” Aubertine’s campaign said.
Thomas Willdigg, president of the New York State Association of PBAs, said, “Our endorsement is based upon his well known, documented positions taken in support of law enforcement, the friendship you have exhibited toward police officers, and the confidence we have in him to be an effective representative.”
The New York State Association of PBAs, Inc. is an organization of more than 50 member units of more than 40,000 police officers in New York State.
