POTSDAM – A Potsdam man faces several charges including resisting arrest while being taken into custody for alleged driving while intoxicated after a property-damage accident Tuesday morning on U.S. Hwy. 11, according to state police.
Darik M. Bradish, 19, was charged at 1:12 a.m. with DWI, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of alcohol of a person under 21, refusal to take a breath test, and leaving the scene of a property damaging accident, troopers said.
He was additionally charged with disorderly conduct, operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate, and failure to use a designated lane, police said.
Arraignment in Town of Potsdam Court was on all those charges, and did not include a felony DWI count that was initially included by state police as an error in interpreting his previous record was apparently made. Bradish was ordered held on bail of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond, according to troopers.
