MASSENA -- The Board of Education gave a proclamation recognizing Massena Central state champion wrestler Nolan Terrance.
Terrance claimed the NYSPHSAA title in the 285-pound class, the Massena program’s first.
Massena wrestling Coach Scott Perrine said Terrance is a sportsman who continuously improved throughout his five years wrestling as a Red Raider.
“He’s a really good sportsman, a good role model.”
On his way to the state championship, Terrance beat Irondequoit’s Cameron Rohr in the semi-final round 1-0. The title bout saw him beat Edwin Rubio in double overtime.
He ended his high school career with 104 wins.
