STAR LAKE – A serious vehicle rollover accident along State Rt. 3 in the Town of Fine Thursday night resulted in injury to the driver, who is reported in serious but stable condition at Upstate Medical Center.
The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is investigating how the driver, as yet unidentified, failed to negotiate a curve near 3686 Rt. 3, struck a guardrail, rolled down an embankment and came to rest on its roof.
Deputies said they got the call at about 6:50 p.m.
The driver was taken to Clifton-Fine Hospital before being transferred to Syracuse, the Sheriff’s Department says.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Star Lake Fire and Rescue and New York State Police.
