EDWARDS – A Star Lake man stands accused of a rape in August.

Cory M. Hayes, 25, was arrested by state police at about 6 p.m. Thursday.

He is charged with a felony, second-degree rape.

Troopers said the incident was reported to them Aug. 19.

After processing, he was released to a third party, according to state police.
