CANTON - A day-long workshop for property owners wishing to register for the basic STAR tax exemption is set for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the St. Lawrence County Real Property Tax Office in Room 249 of the County Courthouse, 48 Court St., Canton.
Property owners must re-register by Dec. 31 to continue to get the exemption on 2014-14 school tax bills.
Staff from the Real Property Office will be there to help.
