A member of state Sen. Patty Ritchie’s staff has moved over to work for Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush as his chief of staff.
Brian Peck had been Rithcie’s operations director.
“Brian’s knowledge of agriculture, business and Fort Drum convinced me that he would be a real asset to my efforts to serve the people of the 122nd Assembly District,” Blankenbush said. “His background and knowledge of the everyday issues facing our region will prove invaluable as we respond to constituent needs.”
“My staff and I will miss Brian, but I congratulate the Assemblyman for recognizing his organizational skills and knowledge about the issues facing the North Country,” said Ritchie, 48th District Republican from Heuvelton. “Brian was one of my go-to people, but I know we’ll continue to have opportunities to work together in the future.”
“Ken’s position as the ranking member on the Assembly Agriculture Committee and his role as an advocate for our region’s military and small businesses is a natural fit with my own interests,” Peck said.
