A May 31 news release from the tribe says they are ordered removed from Akwesasne based on a tribal resolution that allows them to exclude non-members who "disrupt the peace of the community."
They say the two dozen people could face prosecution through the Franklin County District Attorney's Office for failure to comply, and anyone who sees them in Akwesasne should report it to the tribal police department at 518-358-9200.
The people banned from the territory include Angela Alaimo, Joseph Belile, Christopher Allen Belile, Shane Boucher, Derrick Bowen, Richard W. Clause, Brandy J. Fisher, Robert Fisher, Kevin M. Patnode, Christopher Phillips, Aristedes Rojas, Timothy Scott, Peter T. Shenandoah, Kent Squire Hill, Shawn M. Tedrick and Tyler Valdez.
