AKWESASNE -- The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe has announced their unofficial candidate slate for the June 2 election.
Candidates for chief are Ronald LaFrance Jr. and incumbent Eric Thompson.
Sub-chief candidates include Cory Tarbell, Benjamin Herne, Phillip Tarbell and Marjorie Skidders.
Candidates for tribal clerk are Summer Bero, Corleen Jackson and incumbent Betty Roundpoint.
