ST. REGIS FALLS — A St. Regis Falls couple was arrested after using over $6,000 in Boy Scout Troop funds for personal use, according to state police.
Jessica L. Clark, 38 and Jeffrey M. Clark, 38, were charged with third-degree grand larceny on Oct. 10 stemming from an investigation that began July 3, officers said.
The subjects misappropriated funds from a financial account belonging to the Twin Rivers Counsel 8022 Boy Scout Troop, police said.
The account was created for the sole purpose of Boy Scout activity and was overseen by Mrs. Clark, troopers said.
Both subjects withdrew money from the account for personal use between Dec. 2016 and June 2017, officers said.
They were arraigned in Malone court and released under the supervision of probation, officers said.
The Clarks are to appear in Waverly court Oct. 24 to face the charges.
