CANTON -- The fourth grade students at St. Mary’s School researched historical figures, developed persuasive speeches from their figure’s perspective and then presented their speeches to an audience of peers, faculty, staff and parents.
Students represented Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, Frederic Remington, Nelly Bly, Amelia Earhart, Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass and Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
