CANTON -- Family fun abounded Wednesday at the second in a series of three paddle-and-run duathlons hosted by St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers at the Little River boat launch in Canton.
Phil LaMarche had the fastest time in the 1 1/4 mile run, 2 mile paddle, 1 1/4 mile run.
The team of Will Glass and Don Roy were a close second.
Lynde Wangler was first of the teenagers followed by her sister Susan.
Rory and Wyatt Newman were impressive in their canoe as their mom did the run.
The next duathlon and the last in this summer’s series will be on Wednesday, Aug. 15, with 5:30 p.m. registration and 6 p.m. start.
