Sarah E. Johnson, a 1982 graduate of St. Lawrence University and a university trustee, received an Oscar as executive producer on the film "Birdman, or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)."
Birdman received the Academy Award for Best Picture.
Last year, Johnson was also part of a team of executive producers on a documentary, "The Invisible War," which won two National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards for Outstanding Investigative Journalism and Best Documentary.
The awards were announced on Sept. 30.
