WADDINGTON -- A story about carp fishing on the St. Lawrence River will air on the Outdoor Channel this week.
Dave Mercer, the maser of ceremonies at the August Bassmaster Elite Tournament in Waddington, and Gerald Swindle, pro angler, filmed a show on carp fishing while in Waddington this past summer.
With the help of Tim Lago, Bob Giordano, Kevin Bateman, Frank Bateman and Abby McNamara, the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and Jo Ann Roberts assisted them and their film crew in preparing and during the production
Mercer's “Facts of Fishing 2016” series will premiere Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 10:30 a.m. on the Outdoor Channel. The program will run again Friday, Jan. 1 at noon, Saturday, Jan. 2 at 7:30 a.m., and Sunday, Jan. 3 at 11 a.m.
