POTSDAM -- St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES recently completed the summer session of its free community English as a Second Language (ESL) class in Potsdam.
Students from Iran, China, Nepal, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tunisia, Brazil and other countries have been attending classes to learn about the United States and to improve their English skills.
In the community ESL classes, students learn about American culture while sharing their cultures.
Classes are free to the public and students of all English skill levels are welcome.
Classes will resume in the fall.
