MASSENA -- Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas has made a $50,000 contribution to the Massena Memorial Hospital (MMH) Foundation to help pay for th new Medical Office Building which broke ground earlier this week.

“This gift will go a long way to help provide our patients new and improved access to care and services,” said Julia Rose, MMH Foundation Executive Director.

The new 20,000 sq ft medical office building will provide incoming and current physicians with much needed space. The building will be home to hospital clinics as well as private physicians. In phase I, only the first floor will be finished to house four medical suites, a lobby, and a conference room. The basement will provide future build-out opportunities as need requires.

“Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas is proud to support the good work being done to enhance patient care at Massena Memorial Hospital”, said Richard Campbell, President, Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas.

While this marks the company’s largest single donation to the MMH Foundation, Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas has most recently provided substantial support to the radiothon, West Wing Expansion, annual fund, golf tournament, and Droppin’ the Gloves on Cancer hockey tournament.

“This gift marks a new level of commitment to the Foundation’s efforts and appreciation to Massena Memorial for the standard of care we strive for each and every day,” said Charlie Fahd, MMH CEO.

Massena Memorial Hospital Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support to Massena Memorial Hospital by funding programs that enhance patient care.
