HEUVELTON -- Black Lake will be featured on Backwoods Angler TV this week.
Backwoods Angler TV is a nationally televised and webcast reality fishing show, educating and exposing anglers to the best fishing in the Northeast part of the country.
This week's episode is "how to fish in the high summer heat" -- where the bass are and what to use.
The show traveled to Black Lake to catch large- and small-mouth bass.
Black Lake is over 11,000 acres stretching 20 miles. The Backwoods Angler crew calls Black Lake “A fish factory.”
The production crew spent two days on the lake, fishing the hundreds of areas prime for small and largemouth bass.
"A great getaway just hours from the big cities, Black Lake really is a 'fishermen's paradise' for freshwater fishing in the Northeast," a news release said.
The Black Lake episode can be seen on their web site at http://www.backwoodsanglertv.com/Episode306.html.
