The St Lawrence County Youth Bureau will establish a Community Service Brigade (CSB) to travel throughout the county tackling civic projects.
The group will operate in April, May and June.
Those eligible to have a job done by the CSB include people, homeowners, the elderly, business community, community centers, highway departments, municipal governments, youth, young adults and faith-based organizations.
The brigade is capable of tackling a variety of work projects and clean-up efforts, and is a vehicle for bringing community together, and intended to inculcate a sense of civic engagement in people, according to a statement from the youth bureau.
