The National Weather Service says there should be no snow tonight as trick-or-treaters come out for Halloween.
Meteorologists are calling for partly cloudy skies countywide, with temperatures getting down into the 20s tonight. Potsdam, Canton, Ogdensburg, Massena, Star Lake and Gouverneur are looking at temperatures between 23 and 28 degrees.
Tuesday brings a forecast of partly sunny skies giving way to a 20-30 percent chance of rain in all St. Lawrence County towns, with temperatures predicted around 55 degrees. There is a 30 percent chance of showers at night with thermometers dropping to the mid-40s.
Wednesday should be mostly cloudy with temperatures getting up to the high 50s in most towns and possibly 60 in Gouverneur. Evening forecast throughout St. Lawrence County is a 60 percent of showers with lows around 45.
The detailed forecast for Potsdam:
Monday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. Calm wind.
Tuesday - A 20 percent chance of showers after 1pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 55. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday night - A 30 percent chance of showers before 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. South wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday - Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. West wind around 7 mph.
Wednesday night - Showers likely, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Thursday - Showers. High near 52. Calm wind becoming north around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Thursday night - Showers likely, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Northwest wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Friday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. West wind around 7 mph.
Friday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. Southwest wind 3 to 5 mph.
Saturday - Partly sunny, with a high near 47. West wind around 5 mph.
