MADRID — St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies are seeking assistance locating a vehicle that was involved in a property-damage accident Jan. 16 on County Route 31.
Deputies say they vehicle was headed north between 4 and 6 a.m. near the intersection of County Route 30 when it struck a deer and then struck a fence and light pole in a private lawn.
The vehicle fled the scene.
Based on debris found at the scene, the vehicle may be a 2003-2007 SAAB model 9-3, dark in color, officers said.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 379-2222 and refer to case number 17S-00468.
