MADRID – The theft of a gun safe and weapons sometime in the last week has the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office asking for help from the public.
The sheriff’s office reports that the gun safe, containing two handguns, a stainless steel Smith & Wesson .357 magnum and Rohm RG 22 .22 caliber magnum, along with a $50 savings bond and two collectible $2 bills, was taken from a Pearson Road address sometime within the last week.
Sheriff’s investigators are asking anyone with information to call 379-2222.
