GOUVERNEUR – St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies say they arrested a man early Friday as a fugitive from justice stemming from a violation of probation from a previous robbery charge.
Deputies said they detained James Farmer, 26, Brooklyn, at 112 Scotch Settlement Rd., after they discovered him to be a wanted by authorities in Pennsylvania.
Farmer was arraigned in Canton Town Court in front of Judge Curley and held without bail pending further court proceedings, officers said.
