St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging and St. Lawrence County Council of Senior Citizens are accepting nominations through March 28 for several awards for seniors and those who serve seniors.
The awards include Senior Citizen of the Year, Outstanding Contribution by a Senior Citizen, and the Jacqueline Sears Volunteer Award.
Nominees for Senior Citizen of the Year and Outstanding Contribution by a Senior Citizen must be age 60 or older. Nominees for St. Lawrence County Council’s Jacqueline Sears Volunteer Award can be of any age.
A nominee can be and exceptional senior who volunteers time, shares skills and knowledge, and is a dedicated advocate for older adults.
