St. Lawrence County lost about 100 non-farm jobs in March compared to the same time in 2016.
The Department of Labor says there were 38,200 in 2016 and 38,100 in 2017. That represents a .3 percent drop.
Statewide the department estimated a gain of about 119,600 jobs, a 1.3 percent increase over last year.
Jefferson County gained about 400 non-farm jobs and Franklin County gained about 200.
