St. Lawrence County residents looking for local farmers’ markets can use Sen. Patty Ritchie’s 2015 farmers’ market guide.
It includes 35 farmers’ markets in St. Lawrence, Jefferson and Oswego counties.
A Republican from Heuvelton, Ritchie represents the 48th Senate District, which covers most of northern and western St. Lawrence County, including Canton, Ogdensburg and Gouverneur.
The guide is available at www.ritchie.nysenate.gov or by calling 782-3418.
“This guide makes it easy for consumers to find markets close by where they can buy fresh, nutritious foods, and boost our local agriculture industry at the same time,” Ritchie said.
