OGDENSBURG -- St. Lawrence County native Eric Brunet has written a historic thriller about the high seas, pirates, lost treasure, and love titled “– “Samaritan Wars – The Angelica.”
Samaritan Wars takes place in present day on the East Coast north of Boston. With flashbacks to the 18th century, Samaritan Wars explores a perilous family event that pit two families against one another for the underwater find of the century.
Jake Cutter, a recently retired elite-soldier, is hired to spy on his employer’s nemesis. What’s at stake is a lost shipwreck filled with treasure. With the technologies of the day, true love on the horizon, and realizing late in the game he’s working for the wrong family, he fights to bring justice and honor to all.
When he is not writing, Brunet serves as a wealth management strategist for clients all over the county.
He lives in the Black Lake area where he enjoys spending time in the outdoors around their country-style swimming pond with his wife, two children, family pets and friends, a press release said.
“Samaritan Wars – The Angelica” is available at the St. Lawrence University Brewer Book Store and Amazon in soft cover and digital download.
