CANTON -- St. Lawrence County Public Transit is looking for talented artists to submit designs for their new logo. Entries are due by Jan. 26, 2018 and the first place designer will win $250.
The organization lists the following criteria for submissions:
• Does the entry align with the theme and goals of the SLC Public Transit?
• Does the composition exhibit original design, and creativity?
• Do all the elements work together to create a unified and appealing design?

Email a completed entry form and logo design to Michelle Quinell-Gayle, assistant executive director of marketing for St. Lawrence NYSARC at mquinell@slnysarc.org by Jan. 26.
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student of an accredited school at the high school or college level.
The artwork may be digital or hand-drawn and may be modified as needed.
Logos must include: “St. Lawrence County Public Transit” and “Connecting Communities.”
The design may not include more than three colors. One of these colors must be “Pantone 2266 CP” or forest green.
Only one entry per person will be accepted and it should be emailed in .png, .jpg, .psd or PDF format.
By submitting, entrants agree that any and all intellectual property rights in the logo design are given to the St. Lawrence County Public Transit and operator, St. Lawrence NYSARC.
The logo may be used in all media – including online, print, on merchandise, and other collateral with no restrictions.
