The St. Lawrence County Planning Office on behalf of the county’s Agricultural Farmland Protection Board (AFPB) is seeking input from the farming community on the development of an agricultural development plan for the county.
The AFPB is encouraging farmers to complete the survey to identify issues that should be included in the plan. They also hope to identify potential information gaps, and opportunities for continuing education and support in order to help strengthen and diversify the county’s agricultural industry.
Online versions of the survey can be found at https://stlawu.qualtrics.com/SE?SID=SV_cATUJAJH8iouYM5 or www.stlawco.org.
. Paper copies are available in Canton at Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, the SLC Real Property Office, the SLC Planning Office or at the Soil and Water Conservation District Office.
The survey will be available during March.
